Description:

G Brothers Construction, LLC is hiring 16 construction general laborers to

perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. Job Duties will be

those of a general labor construction worker. This may include loading

and/or unloading tools and equipments and materials from transportation trucks

and moving them to the appropriate areas of a worksite. Workers may be

expected to carry up to 75lbs of material as necessary in less than idea weather

conditions. This is a winterbased need when outdoor construction can be made

slow due to the weather conditions. clean and prepare sites, dig trenches,

set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up

rubble, debris, and other waste materials. Control traffic passing near, in, or

around work zones. Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible

hazards. Signal equipment

operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery,

equipment, or materials. Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or

compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic

tampers, or rakes. Mix, pour, or spread concrete, using portable cement mixers.

Operate pumps, compressors, or generators to provide power for

tools, machinery, or equipment or to heat or move materials, such as asphalt.

Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or

other temporary structures. Work to be done in the area of I-49 S AMB Cafferey &

US 90 Interchange along Routes US 90 & LA 3073 in Lafayette County, LA, in theLafayette, LA MSA. Employer will provide all tools/equipment needed at no

charge to the employees.

Work to begin October 1, 2025 and end May 31, 2026. Employees expected daily

schedule from 7:00am - 4:00pm. Pay will be $20.05 per hour regular time and

single work week computing will be used. Should overtime pay be required, pay

will be $30.08 per hour. Typically, paychecks will be issued at least once every

two weeks. The Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck

that are required by law. As applicable, the employer will reimburse in the first

work week all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, as

mandated by the government and not exceeding the mandated reimbursements.

If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse

the worker for transportation and subsistence. Upon completion of the work

contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay

for

worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home

or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker

will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The

amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most

economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily

subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a

maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.The Employer does not intend to offer

housing or transportation unless absolute necessary, in which case housing

and transportation would be optional and the Employer will make a reasonable

deduction if worker requires housing and/or transportation assistance by the

Employer.
